A Falling from Grace

A Falling from Grace

What anger is in your stare,
You're in such a state of despair
See a way of life lived in secrecy and suspicion
Now it's claiming another victim.

I can read you're mind like an open book
But with every word, sentence and look
I see the paranoia creep across your, still gentle face
I fear time is running out to save you and make you safe
Sinking ever deeper,
it's journey of attrition, tendrils -like a creeper
Down Inside your soul, it tightens its grip
to become your misconceived bargaining chip.

Cut off your nose to spite your face
You'll end up hating the whole human race
How sad you that want to go through this phase
Just because you're too stubborn and proud to communicate.

Everything viewed in a poisonous way,
The world and his uncle will now all have a price to pay.
How sad your view of life will become
When you see us all as just some scum.

I pray for your release and return to peace.
